About
What this library is.
The Classics Library is an independent reference library of classic works, from Homer and Scripture through the Church Fathers, the medieval and Renaissance masters, and the modern novel. Each completed work record can include a summary, lessons, context, comparisons, verified quotes, a student guide for classical Christian high school reading, and a medical lens for psychiatry, psychopharmacology, surgery, public health, and the history of medicine.
The Logic & Debate section gathers the tools of the trivium (formal logic, dialectic, and rhetoric) and the main debate formats, with a resolutions bank drawn from the student guides.
Quotes are intended to be verbatim, but publishing notes should verify them against a primary text. Medical readings are interpretive and should be presented as readings, not diagnoses.
School Launch
School Launch is a classical Christian learning hub, with a directory of resources, student contests, vetted videos, and full math courses from pre-algebra through trigonometry.
Context Tools
The historical context guide explains how to read publication dates, settings, reception history, eras, and recurring medical language without flattening older works into modern case studies.
The interactive timeline plots works by year and era, then highlights clusters such as melancholia, plague and fever, physicians, opium, war trauma, and faith or sermons.
Copyright Policy
Copyrighted works use at most two short quotes in the source records. The site exposes manifest stubs for missing work files without pulling longer excerpts from elsewhere.
